LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27, 2025 – Flawless today announced the streaming debut of Watch the Skies, the first visually dubbed feature film ever released on a subscription video-on-demand service, available now on Prime Video in the UK and starting October 27 in the United States. The project was led by Flawless using its proprietary TrueSync™ technology, which preserves an actor’s on-screen performance while adapting dialogue to new languages with natural, frame-accurate lip synchronization.
Flawless first partnered with AMC Theatres for the U.S. release of Watch the Skies in May 2025, marking the first visually dubbed film ever shown in American cinemas. Its debut on Prime Video now extends that breakthrough into the streaming era, expanding Flawless’s visual dubbing technology from the big screen to global audiences across the UK now and the United States starting October 27.
About the Film
Watch the Skies is a Swedish science fiction adventure directed by Victor Danell and produced by Crazy Pictures and XYZ Films. The film stars Inez Dahl Torhaug as Denise, a determined teenager who believes her missing father was abducted by aliens. When his car mysteriously reappears years later, Denise joins a group of UFO investigators to uncover the truth and confront a conspiracy that reaches far beyond her small town.
Originally released in Sweden under the title UFO Sweden, the film was visually dubbed in English using Flawless’ TrueSync technology. The process used re-recorded dialogue from the original actors and applied precision visual alignment to match their lip movements and expressions, preserving both the emotional authenticity and cinematic realism of the performances.
